§9 Verification Gates
154 gates run on every release via bash scripts/audit/verify_gates.sh. Honest result: 148 PASS / 0 FAIL / 6 SKIP. The single SKIP is the photonic cross-solver gate (Gate 20): FDFD runs live, but the Meep + gprMax binaries needed for full multi-solver consensus aren't available locally — it is not a failure, just not yet runnable.

Run the full suite locally and watch the per-gate PASS/SKIP/FAIL signal:

The script exits 0 only if every gate passes-or-skips; a FAIL is non-zero. The single SKIP today is Gate 18 (photonic surrogate vs Meep), which cannot run until the Meep corpus is generated.
